Answer:

a)She shook the bottle to bring the contents in form of a sol. Absorption of medicine is easier in the colloidal form. This process of agitating a precipitate is known as peptization.

b)When the medicine is sold in anhydrous form, it has a higher self life and thus can be stored for a longer time.

Hope it helps and please mark me as brainliest....◕ᴥ◕

a. She shook up the contents to dissolve the contents of the bottle with electrolyte(water) so that the medicine can be absorbed easily in colloidal form.

The process of conversion of a precipitate into a colloidal solution by shaking it with a dispersion medium using an electrolyte is called peptization.

The electrolyte used during peptization is called the peptizing agent.

b. The value associated with selling medicine in this form are:

  • The life of medicine can be increased.
  • Medicine can be stored for a long time.
  • It is easier to prepare the medicines.
