Kamlesh bought \frac{1}{24} meter of blue ribbon than the green ribbon.

Given:

Kamlesh bought \frac{2}{3}  meter of green ribbon and \frac{5}{8} meter of blue ribbon for tying gifts.

To find:

How much more blue ribbon Kamlesh bought than the green ribbon.

Solution:

Let,

The length of green ribbon is \frac{2}{3}

The length of blue ribbon is  \frac{5}{8}

To find how much more blue ribbon Kamlesh bought than the green ribbon,

Subtract the length of green ribbon to blue ribbon

\frac{2}{3} - \frac{5}{8} = \frac{(8)(2) -3(5)}{8(3)}

\frac{2}{3} - \frac{5}{8} = \frac{16 -15}{24}

\frac{2}{3} - \frac{5}{8} = \frac{1}{24}

Therefore, Kamlesh bought \frac{1}{24} meter of blue ribbon than the green ribbon.
