Kanav took two test tubes marked as I and II
In test tube I, he put calcium carbonate
and hydrochloric acid while in test tube II,
he put zinc granules and hydrochloric acid.
He passed the gas coming out from both
the test tubes in lime water. What would
be his observation?​

Marble pieces (made of Calcium carbonate) react with hydrochloric acid to make Calcium chloride, Water and Carbon dioxide.

Calcium Carbonate + Hydrochloric acid - - - - ->

Calcium chloride + Water + Carbon Dioxide

Carbon Dioxide is the answer for marble pieces.

2)Zinc granules

Zn  +  2HCl     gives   ZnCl2  +   H2

That is when zinc react with Hydrochloric acid zinc chloride and hydrogen gas is formed

So for second one...Hydrogen is the answer...
