Answer

Total number of bananas =12

Supposed cost of 1 banana =4 Rs

Cost of 12 bananas =12*4=48

Loss for 1 banana = 2 rupees

Loss for 12 bananas= 2*12=24

Remaining money after loss= 48-24=24 Rs

So

selling price for 12 bananas = 24 Rs

Selling price of 1 banana is =24/12=2 Rs

So net loss will be original price/selling price *100

= 48/24*100

=50% loss

Hi,

Iam a Brainly Academic counselor,

Answer :

1] Sol : As mentioned : He sells the dozen bananas for loss of Rs.2/- ,

So lets think the real price of dozen bananas = y

So , now the cost of the bananas = y - Rs.2/-

= y - 2

Loss[ In percentage ] =  [ real price - selling price ] / selling price x 100%

= y -2 /2 x 100%

= y - 2 x 50

Lets think that y-2 = b

So b x 50 = Loss percentage

= 50b% is his loss ;

2] Sol:  A submarine is situated 650 feet below sea level

It descends 200 feet = 650 + 200 feet

Now the new position of the submarine = 850 feet below the sea level.

hope I made my self clear ,
