Kantabai bought 1.5 kg tea and 5 kg sugar from a shop. She paid Rs 50 as return fare for rickshaw. Total expense was Rs 700. Then she realised that by ordering online the goods can be bought with free home delivery at the same price. So next month she placed the order online for 2 kg tea and 7 kg sugar. She apid Rs 880 for that. Find the rate of sugar and tea per kg.

Let the cost of tea be x and sugar be y
Total cost while physical shopping was 700 out of which 50 was paid for auto
Hence 1.5kg tea and 5kg sugar costed 700 - 50 = Rs 650
therefore 1.5x + 5y = 650

When brought online, 2kg tea and 7kg sugar costed 880
therefore 2x + 7y = 880

Solving these two equations, we get
1.5x + 5y = 650 (multiplying by 2)
2x + 7y = 880 (multiplying by 1.5)

3x + 10y = 1300
3x + 10.5y = 1320

0.5y = 20
y = 40

Solving equation by value of y as 40, we get
x = 300

Therefore the cost of tea is Rs 40 per kg and cost of Sugar is Rs 300 per Kg
