Let the age of kanwar be x and that of Amina be y.

Therefore,

From First condition,

x=y+3

x-y=3............................ (1)

From second condition,

x-6=4(y-6)

x-6=4y-24

x-6+24=4y

x+18=4y

4y-x=18.....................(2)

Adding (1) and (2),

3y=21

y=21/3

y=7

Now substituting the value of y in (1) we get,

x-y=3............. (1)

x-7=3

x=7+3

x=10

Hence, Kanwar's age is 10 years and Amina's age is 7 years
