Step-by-step explanation:

Number of dolls purchased=40

Price=4800/-

Cost of one doll=4800/40=120/-

Cost of 5 dolls=700/-

Cost of 8 set of dolls=700*8=5600/-

So the profit is=5600-4800=800/-

Ans:-

Cost price of 40 dolls = 4800

Cost price of 1 doll = 4800/40

= 120 .

Now, Sold price of 5 Dolls = 700

Sold price of 1 Doll = 700/5

= 140

: Since , SP>CP

then there is a profit,

Profit = SP - CP

= 140 - 120

= 20 ruppes profit per DOLL
