Karen had a roll of ribbon 97by2 meter long how many pieces of ribbon of length 6by5 metre can she cut from the roll? how many metre of the ribbon will be left?

Answer:

No of pieces= (97/2)÷(6/5)

= 97/2 × 5/6

=485/12=40.41

so she can cut 40 pieces
