The cholas whose hereditary from karikala cholan , being withered by kalabhras and rising to kings of small kingdoms under pallavas . It was vijayalaya cholan who sowed the seed for the great chola empire by conquering tanjore from mutharaiyar. P.S : Raja Rajan, ofcourse is my second favourite.
