Karna proves himself to be very self-contradictory at the end of the story. He promised and said certain things but his actions were opposite to it.

Explanation:

• Dharma also is on the side of Pandavas however he still would not support it.

• He is also aware that he can end the war by refusing to Duryodhana and his ideas.

• Yet at the same time explains how everything is out of his hands.
