Karthik and Srinu are climbing on a moving escalator that is going up. Karthik takes 25 steps to reach the top but Srinu takes 40 steps to reach the top. Karthik can take 5 steps in a second while Srinu can take 10 steps in a second. Calculate the total number of steps in the escalator.
