Answer:

If ,the money in the beginning is 1

and if he had given 2/7 to his sister so the remaining is 5/7.

and he had spent 3/5 of the remaining so he spent 5/7 *3/5=3/7

so the left is 1-3/7=4/7

4/7 =300

1=300*7/4

1=75*7

1=525

let 'x' be the amount of money he had in the beginning.

amount of money he gave to his sister

 =  \frac{2}{7} x

amount of money now left with him

 = x -  \frac{2}{7} x =  \frac{7x - 2x}{7}  \\  =  \frac{5x}{7}

amount of money he then spent

 =  \frac{3}{5} ( \frac{5x}{7} ) \\  =  \frac{3x}{7}

now, amount of money he is finally left with

 = x -  \frac{2x}{7}  -  \frac{3x}{7}  \\  =  \frac{7x - 2x}{7}  -  \frac{3x}{7}  \\  =  \frac{2x}{7}

he has 300 rupees left

 \frac{2x}{7}  = 300 \\ x =  \frac{300 \times 7}{2} \\ x = 1050

Hence, he originally had 1050 Rs. with him.
