Kashmir has been facing problems with Pakistan for a number of years now. One of the main reasons is the disagreement of policies between the two governments.

• Pakistan’s closeness with Kashmir in terms of religion is what makes this place their ally. The local people of Kashmir trust the Pakistan government more than the Indian government.

• The people of Kashmir also believe that since 1947, the place has been a puppet ruled by the Indian government and its policies.

• The people also feel that the PDP and NC congress have in the past only tried to settle political issues between them. The government has not much looked into the benefit of the local people in terms of education and social economic status.

• They also fear that in present time, the ideology of Hindutava is one of the reasons for triggering conflicts within the state. They also fear that PDP has managed to surrender itself to the BJP ruled government and its policies.

• They feel that the political policies emerging thus can be more of anti-Muslims.
