As it is a hilly area, More above the altitude you go more the temperature decreases.

Hence, Kashmiri people use Kangiri as an object to keep themselves warm abd wear An outfit called as Fehran to be prevent from cold.

In Jammu and Kashmir there is too much of coolness, so, in our state there is less coolness than Kashmir. So, we also wears warm clothes in winter but in Kashmir there is coolness for 12 months so, they wear warm clothes to keep hot from cool
