GIVEN :-

  • Kavin lost 20% of his money .
  • Money left with him = Rs. 4800

TO FIND :-

  • The amount of money he had in the beginning ( Total money he had).

SOLUTION :-

⇢ Money left with him = (100 - 20)%

Money left with him = 80%

Now Let the total money be "x".

⇒ 80% of x = 4800

⇒ 80/100 × x = 4800

⇒ 80x/100 = 4800

⇒ x = (4800 × 100)/80

⇒ x = 60 × 100

x = 6000

Hence the total money he had in the beginning is Rs. 6000.
