Correct Question :-

Kavita have 100 oranges, 10% were eaten and 20% of the remaining were rotten. Find the number of oranges left.

Given :-

Total oranges :- 100

Percent of oranges eaten :- 10%

Percent of oranges rotten :- 20%

To Find :-

Number of oranges left with her...............

Solution :-

Number of oranges eaten :-

 \tt \longrightarrow10  \small\bf\% \:  \sf \: of \tt  \:  \: 100

 \tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{10}{100}  \times 100

 \tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{10}{ \cancel{100}}  \times  \cancel{100} = 10 \times 1 =  \boxed{ \tt 10}

Number of oranges rotten :-

 \tt \longrightarrow20 \small {\bf\%} \:  \sf \: of \:  \tt \:  100

 \tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{20}{100}  \times 100

 \tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{20}{ \cancel{100}}  \times  \cancel{100} = 20 \times 1 =  \boxed{ \tt 20}

Now,

Number of oranges remaining :-

 \tt \longrightarrow100 - (10 + 20)

 \tt \longrightarrow100 - 30 =  \boxed{ \tt 70}

\Huge\therefore70 oranges were remaining with Kavitha.
