LET THE TWO PIECES OF ROPES BE x

Third one is x+2

TOTAL LENGTH OF THE ROPES IS 14m

x+x+x+2 = 14

3x+2 =14

3x=14-2

3x=12

x =  \frac{12}{3}  \\  = 4

The length of two pieces are 4m , 4m

length of third one is 4+2m = 6m
