if the pressure is doubled then the density also doubled...

Keeping the temperature constant if pressure of a given mass of a gas is doubled then the velocity doesnot changes.Because velocity is directly proportional to the temperature.If temperature increased then the velocity also increases. If temperature decreased then the velocity also decreases.
