Resistance=(resistivity×length)/area
Resistance is directly proportional to length and resistivity but inversely to area
R = (pl)/A
l2 = nl
R2 = (pl2)/A
R2 = (pnl)/A
R2 = nR1
Hence if length is increased by n times then resistance is also increased by n times itself.
