Given :

The total distance to be cover = D = 5 km

The fraction of distance cover in the morning = \dfrac{2}{5}

To Find :

The fraction of distance yet to be cycled

Solution :

∵ The total distance to be cover = D = 5 km

And

The fraction of distance cover in the morning = \dfrac{2}{5}

So, The distance cover in the morning = \dfrac{2}{5} × 5

                                                                = 2 km

Again

The distance yet to be cycled = Total distance -  distance cover in the morning

                                                  = 5 km - 2 km

                                                  = 3 km

So, The fraction of distance yet to be cycled = 1 - The fraction of distance cover in the morning

                                                                          = 1 - \dfrac{2}{5}

                                                                         = \dfrac{5 -2}{5}

                                                                         = \dfrac{3}{5}

Hence,  The fraction of distance yet to be cycled is \dfrac{3}{5}   . Answer

Answer:

Given :

The total distance to be cover D = 5 km

The fraction of distance cover in the

morning = 2 /5

To Find :

The fraction of distance yet to be cycled

Solution :

The total distance to be cover = D = 5 km

And

The fraction of distance cover in thea

morning = 2/5

So, The distance cover in the morning =

2/5 x 5

=2 km

again

The distance yet to be cycled = Total distance - distance cover in the morning

= 5 km - 2 km

= 3 km

So, The fraction of distance yet to be cycled = 1 - The fraction of distance cover in the morning

= 1 - 2/5

= 5-2/5

= 3/ 5

Hence, The fraction of distance 3 yet to be cycled is3/5 . Answer
