therefore
 x+25%of x=3000
x+25÷100*x=3000
Lcm of 1 and hundred is 100 ∴100x+25x÷100=3000
125x÷100 =3000
x=3000*100/125
x=2400
brought price=2400-15%of 2400
15% of 2400=360
2400-360=2040
