Answer:
Indigestion - Also known as Dyspepsia or Upset Stomach. It is characterised by apperance of Discomfort in Upper Abdomen. Occurence can be sudden. Indigestion can be determined by apperance of following symptoms; Abdominal pain, Feeling of Fullness(just after you start eating something even in less amount). In some cases Heartburn has also displayed as a classical symptom of Indigestion.
Explanation:
- If Kevin consumed a lot of Carbohydrates and Proteins his body will undergo immediately into Metabolism to stimulate and initiate breakdown of Carbohydrates and Proteins from complex to simpler forms.
- In the intestine, carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are all broken down into their essential components:
- Carbohydrates are broken down into sugars.
- Proteins are broken down into amino acids.
- Fats are subdivided into fatty acids and glycerol.
- Carbohydrates are chemically broken down in the small intestine rather than the stomach. The pancreas secretes a juice containing enzymes that assist in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in food. The pancreas sends digestive juice to the small intestine via ducts, which are small tubes.
- Therefore, the possible places where the process of Digestion will go wrong will be the SMALL INTESTINES.
