x=2y
x-12=6(y-12)
=>x-12=6y-72
=>x-2y=0.....(1)
and x-6y=-60......(2)
=>(1)-(2)=x-2y-x+6y=0-(-60)

x=2y=2×15=30
therefore Kevin's age is 30years and Gabriela's age is 15years
