Answer:

In the short story 'The Little Girl' by Katherine Mansfield, Kezia changes her opinion about her father towards the end of the story. In the beginning of the story, Kezia thinks of her father as a cruel man who is always trying to avoid her. She is scared of him and wonders why God created fathers.

Kezia’s feeling of her father changed from fear to understanding when her father took care of her in the absence of her mother and grandmother. One day Kezia's mother is hospitalized and she is left alone at home with her father. She has a nightmare, following which her father takes her to his bed. He is very kind and caring towards her and asks her to rub her feet against his legs to warm them. This incident changes Kezia's attitude towards her father as she realizes that he worked very hard and so, did not have time to play with her.
