Khelo India youth games is a national level championship where the participants shows their talent. Our prime Minister Shri narander modi organized the khelo India in 2017 with the support of sports authority of India. Now in this year khelo India is organized in state of marahtra. Khelo India start on 9 January 2019

Khelo India Youth Games is going to start from 9th January,2019 and will end on 20 January,2019.It has a strong message of “Kheloge kudoge banoge lajawaab”.This is to encourage kids to play everyday,as it will help them to be fit and fine and healthy.It is also an effort towards changing an old age belief,“Kheloge kudoge banoge kharab,pharoge likhoge banoge nawab”.It has as evocative of “#5MinuteAur”,which has also been seen on TV whem the ad of Khelo India Youth Games comes.It will include sports like tennis, swimming,hockey,archery etc making a total of 18 such sports.

It has been scheduled to take place at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune.It will have over 10,000 participants from 29 states and 7 Union Territories taking part.It will two different age groups--under 17 and under 21.This is being organised to encourage India to play more.

It is a testimony to the hunger and multitude of sporting talent in India.
