Turkey suffered injustice at the hands of the British after the first world war. Ali brothers Muhammad Ali and Shaukat Ali, started the Khilafat movement against the British to undo the injustices against Muslims in Turkey. Later on, under the leadership of Gandhiji, the Khilafat movement became a part of Non-Cooperation Movement.
