Khushwant Singh is one of the most famous Indian writers. He was born in 1915. His writings include the genres of history, politics and the criticism of the society. he was awarded by the Padma Bhushan in 1974 by the president of India. Among his writings, "Train to Pakistan" and "The Company of Women" are the most famous ones. His works prove to be one of the greatest source of historical content and the situation during the partition of India.
