30 kids - 36 pens -12 days

1 kid - 36 penicils - 360 days (i.e., 30×12)

1 kid- 1 pencil- (360/36) days

1 kid- 66 pens - (360/36) x 66 days

15 kids- 66 pencils - (360/36) x (66/15)

which is equal to 44 days.

Given:

If 30 kids complete 36 pens in 12 days,

To Find:

how long (in days) at the same rate will 66 pens last for 15 kids?

Solution:

It is given that three people can paint a house in 8 days and we need to find in how many days  4 person can paint the same house.

To find the answer to this question we will use the formula for Time and work which states,

\frac{M_1D_1H_1}{W_1} =\frac{M_2D_2H_2}{W_2}

where,

         M= manpower

         D= days

         H= hours

         W= work done

So now putting the values of each in the formula and taking the value of days to be found as x,

\frac{M_1D_1H_1}{W_1} =\frac{M_2D_2H_2}{W_2} \\\\\frac{30*12}{36} =\frac{15*x}{66} \\\\x=44 days

Hence, the number of days is 44 days.
