Kilauea is a volcano in Hawaii. In 2008, an average of 9,000 people visits the volcano each day. Park workers say that this is a 2.5% increase over the year before. Based on these facts, how many more people visited the volcano in 2008 as compared to 2007?

According to this question ,you first have to find the no. of people visited in 2007

so,let the no. of people visited in the year 2007 be x

x+x*2.5/100=9000

now find the value of x,

x=8780.48

difference between the people visited in 2008 and 2007=9000-8780=220
