20% trees are increase by afforestation

There was 20000 trees already have

Find total no° of trees there have = ?

= 20% of 20000

= 20 × 20000/100

= 20 × 200

= 4000

Now, total trees have 20000 + 4000 = 24000

Also , 10% trees there cut down

Find the no of trees after cut down = ?

= (10 - 100)% of 24000

= 90% of 24000

= 90 × 24000/100

= 90 × 240

= 21600

Remain trees in that forest is 21,600
