Simple Sentence - 1 principle clause and 1 subordinate clause.
Ex- Some students like to study in the morning.

Compound Sentence- 2 main clause and 1 subordinate clause.
Ex- I tried to speak Spanish and my friend tried to speak English.

Complex Sentence- 1 main clause and 2 or more subordinate clause.
Ex-The teacher returned the homework after she noticed the errors.
