the force of attraction is the gravitational force- which is dendent upon the product of masses of the two objects and the square of distANCE BETWEEN THEM
GRAVITATIONAL FORCE= GMm/r^2
however two bricks tied together and a single brick will fall at same time as the acceleration due to gravity is same that IS 9.8 m/s^2
