Topic: Men and Women should be treated equally.

\huge\mathcal\blue{Answer:}

India is a developing country and is still going through many changes. Our Indian Constitution promotes the equality and men and women on all basis. But some people's mentality stops from all the good.

Equality is about ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents. It is also the belief that no one should have poorer life chances because of the way they were born, where they come from, what they believe, or whether they have a disability. Gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity. Gender equality is a human right.

Women have all the rights freely, but are considered socially awkward from men. Some women are left uneducated, which leads them to destroying their own future. Whereas men are provides with all the education. At some houses, where there are two siblings - a sister and a brother, sometimes the parents provide only the male child with education and leave the girl child just at home being uneducated and doing chores. This is the cause of parents' narrow mindedness.

Talking about working, women are told and forced by the society for a ‘9 to 5’ job and not more than that because:

  1. They are usually not safe after that.
  2. Society will ‘judge’ them.

Also, they can't do what they want to do because their aim might not be matching the standards of the society.

Some women are still a prey for social evils.

Unequal societies are less cohesive. They have higher rates of anti-social behaviour and violence. Countries with greater gender equality are more connected. Their people are healthier and have better wellbeing.

Things need to change, else they won't work. As we children are the youth and future of the nation, we must have a broad thinking and stop differentiating between men and women. We are all humans, and we deserve all the human rights no matter what is our gender, color, indentity or where we are from.

Answer:

Equality between men and women exists when both sexes are able to share equally in the distribution of power and influence; have equal opportunities for financial independence through work or through setting up businesses; enjoy equal access to education and the opportunity to develop personal ambitions, interests and many more .Gender equality prevents violence against women and girls. It's essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier. Gender equality is a human right. The United States Constitution still does not provide women with the same rights as men. ... Not only has the United States not ratified the Equal Rights Amendment it is the only developed nation that has not ratified the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
