Area of triangle =1/2×base×height

For base 6cm, height =4cm.

So, area =21×6×4=12cm2

Let the height for base 8cm, be h.

Area of the triangle will be the same considering any side of the base and its corresponding height.

Hence, area =21×8×h=12cm2⇒h=3cm

Answer:

Area of triangle = _ ×b×h

1

= 6x4÷2

=24÷2

=12cm²

Area is same, b=8cm, h=?

..12 = T2 x 8 x h

8h = 24

...h = 3 cm
