In the poem, somebody's mother the boy expressed kindness for the old lady. The lady couldn'tcross the road for which the boy stopped and helped her. The boy could have gone with his friends but he knew that the lady was Somebody's Mother. The lady in turn gave the boy blessings for his deeds. In this way kindness is a virtue that multiplies and comes to us in one way or the other.
