Answer:

Politeness is as much concerned in answering letters within a reasonable time, as it is in returning a bow, immediately. I don't think you should have to try to be nice, I think most people are nice. I think being cheerful and nice is just a politeness. A real gentleman is as polite to a little girl as to a woman.

One needs no particular talent to be polite. On the contrary, being nice is what's left when you've failed at everything else. Ability does catches my attention, but it’s a politeness in the person that I remember.

hope this helps

Heya!

Here's your answer,

Following the lastest trends & being fashionable is the 'in thing' these days. This fad is not only prevalent in clothes, accessories, home decor & every concievable thing, but also attitude & behaviour. These days being ride, loud,& intolerant is COOL. Anyone who is quiet, polite,& keeps a low profile is labelled as sissy, simple & regressive.

Increasingly, the world is becoming 'I' centric Everyone follows the principle of ME, MYSELF, above YOU, YOURS.

Reality shows on T.V like Big Boss, Roadies encourage bad manners & vulgarity. People get vicarious pleasure in watching the contestants sling mud on each other & fling sleazy accusations on others.

The more conniving, cunning & crude you are, the higher your chances if winning. It is a reflection on our society that thrives on such shows. Sadly, appalling behaviour & intolerant views, with a good dose of abuse, aggression & expletives thrown in, have become fodder for the soul.

thanks!
