So temperature = 227 + 273 = 500 K
You need not use pen and paper for solving this.
We know that kinetic energy is directly proportional to temperature
So 'x' is directly proportional to 500 K
'3x' will be proportional to 3 x 500 = 1500K
So the required temperature is 1500 K
