Let Rajat age be = x

Then kiran age = 15+x

After 6 years

Rajat age = x+6

kiran age = 15+x+6 = 21+x

kiran age : Rajat age = 3:2

Kiran age/Rajat age = 3/2

21+x = 3 ( by cross multiplication)

x+6 2

2(21+x) = 3(x + 6)

42+2x = 3x+18

2x-3x = 18-42

-x = -24 (LHS minus is cancel by RHS minus )

x = 24

Rajat age = x= 24

Kiran age = x+6 = 24+6 = 30
