Answer:Let total family income be                          :         x

kiran`s increment be                                     :         y

Then kiran`s income before increment    :        0.2x

Increment value:= 14×(0.2x+y)=yy=0.2x3

           New salary=0.2x3+0.2x=0.8x3

 New salary in terms of family income = 0.8x3x+0.2x3×100=25%

Note : kiran is also part of family therefore increment in kiran`s salary will also increase his family income.
