no. of bulbs= 2/7 x
cost of 1 battery = Rs. 7.50
cost of x batteries = Rs. 7.50x
cost of 1 bulb = Rs. 8
cost of 2/7x bulbs = Rs. 16/7x
again according to question,
7.50x + 16/7x = 137
15/2x + 16/7x = 137
255x/14 = 137
x= 137×14
255
x= 7.521
x= 7pencil batteries (approx.)
2/7x=2bulbs
