Let the cost of books be x.
No. of books = 6
No. of CDs = 2
Rate of CDs = Rs. 45 each
Therefore, cost of CDs = 45*2
= Rs. 90
Cost of books + Cost of CDs = Total amount
x + 90 = 540
x = 540 - 90
x = Rs. 450
Therefore, cost of one book = 450/6
= Rs. 75
Cost of one book is Rs. 75.
