5km from the starting point, in the direction 37° East of North.

After walking 10km North and 6km South, Kishen's effectively 4km North.

And going 3km East places him/her at a distance of √(3² + 4²) I'm from the origin, since North and East are mutually perpendicular directions.

The angle is a standard thing. Let ø be the angle between the final direction and East-West axis. Then,

tanø = 4/3 => ø = 53°

So, the final point's direction is 90° - 53° = 37° East of North.
