Kishore can complete a work in 10 days, Nathan completes the same work in 15 days, How many days it will take if both work

Let us take the total work to be 30 units ( L.C.M of 10 , 15 )

Given , Kishore can complete a work in 10 days

           i.e., 30 units of work in 10 days 

 ⇒     3 units of work per day by kishore.  

Also , Nathan completes the same work in 15 days.    

             i.e., 30 units in 15 days.

     ⇒     2 units of work by Nathan.

When both of them work together work done by them per day = ( 3 + 2 )

                           = 5 units / day.

so no. of days required now  = ( Total work  / work done per day )

                  ⇒ Days  = ( 30 / 5 ) = 6 days.

∴ Therefore both of them together takes 6 days to complete the same work.
