= [(sec ²x - tan ²x )+(sec x- tan x)]/[(1+sec x+ tan x)

= (sec x - tan x)(sec x +tan x+1)/(1+sec x+ tan x)

= (sec x - tan x )

= 1/cos x - sin x /cos x

= (1-sin x)/cos x

=RHS
