Anne didn't liked to share her feelings to other people because she thought that a paper can keep all the secrets without letting anyone know and even thought that paper can be trusted more than a person, so she always felt happy when she wrote her feelings in kitty (her diary).
Anne didn't have any friends in her school whom she can share her secrets or can share her feelings so she decided to write her feelings in a diary as it won't be able to tell others about her secrets and the one whom she can trust the most. She even gave it a name as Kitty and from then on, she always wrote her all the feelings in kitty. Even though others might leave her one day but her diary kitty would never leave her and be with her all her life. So, from this we can conclude that kitty played a vital role in Anne's life, after all.
