Answer: 12.75 + 3x

Step-by-step explanation:

The price of one pizza = $ 12.75

And, the price of one drink = $ 3

Since kiyo bought one pizza and some drinks,

Let he bought x drinks

Then the price of x drink = 3x

Thus, he spends total amount = The price of one pizza + the price of x drinks = 12.75 + 3x

Which is the required expression.

Solution:

Cost of pizza= $ 12.75

Let cost of medium Drink = $ x

Variable= Cost of Drink

Total amount of money Kiyo spent= Cost of pizza + cost of medium Drink

                                                            =  (12.75 +  x)→Expression

If cost of one drink =$ 3

Total cost = $ 12.75 + $ 3

              = $ 15.75
