The geographic location of a place has a key role in determining its climate. The city of Kochi is located on the coast while Agra city is located inland.
The moist winds from the sea influence the climate, keeping it moderate throughout the year in Kochi while Agra experiences a drastic variation in annual temperature, which results in the large range of temperature throughout the year.

Kochi is near to the sea due to which there is less difference in temperature and summer and winter the temperature does not reach to its extreme. While Agra is so far from the sea and due to which there is more temperature difference in it and summer and winter the temperature reaches its max.
