resistivity(p) = 1.6 x 10^-4 ohmmetre

i) by the formula

R = p L / A

L = R x A / p

L = ( 10 x 3.14 x 0.25 x 10^-3 x 0.25 x 10^-3) /

1.6 ×10^-4

L = 1.9625 x 10 ^ -6 / 1.6 x 10 ^-4

L = 1.22 x 10^-2 metre.

ii) if diameter is doubled

R = p l / A

r inversely propotional to Area

area is directly proprtional to the square of radius

r = d / 2

R is inversely propotinal to square of diameter

so if we doubled the diameter then resiatnce will decrease by 4 times...
