Let Kofi had X rs.

money spent on food = X×3/5= 3X/5

Remaining( 1) = X- 3X/5 =2X/5

Money spent on sweets = 2X/5 ×1/3
= 2X/15

Remaining (2) = 2X/5 - 2X/15

= 4X/15

lorry fare = 4X/15 ×1/2 = 2X/15

2X/15 = 3

2X=45
X= 22.5

ATQ

a) food = 3X/5 = 67.5/5 = 13.5 GHC

b)Lorryfare = 2X/15 = 3 GHC

b) total pocket mone = 22.5 GHC
