The balanced equation is as follows:

2KOH + CO2--------> K2CO3 + H2O

For balancing the number of each element should be equal on both the sides of the equation.

Here, the number of potassium, oxygen and hydrogen atoms are unequal on both sides and hence balanced.

Here, two moles of potassium hydroxide( KOH) react with one mole of carbon dioxide( CO2) to form one mole of potassium carbonate ( K2CO3) and one mole of water.
